Northern Harrier, Forsythe NWR, New Jersey

I would like to end this year with a photograph of a Northern Harrier. It became one of my favorite birds pretty quickly, and it turns out, it is the bird I photographed the most in 2013 🙂 

This particular photo, of an an adult female Marsh Hawk (as it was called in the past) flying low over the marsh, was taken at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, Galloway, Atlantic County, New Jersey:
