Today, I’m posting photographs taken recently, during one of the most exciting days of my Bald Eagle photography excursions, here in Northeast.

Following photographs are part of a 30 image sequence, showing a juvenile Bald Eagle attempting to steal a fish from an adult bird.

Reblogged this on John Adair Photographs and commented:
Apparently one bird’s just too damn lazy to get his own food!

Believe it or not, out of 70+ Bald Eagles at this location, this is exactly what happens. One goes for the fish and the rest, 2 to 5 eagles, is chasing them to steal the catch 🙂 The best/worst part is seeing Bald Eagles seating next to Great Blue Herons and pigeons, looking bored and awaiting the moment for an easy steal 🙂
