To give you a break from the owl photographs, I’m posting my latest edit of a local wintering waterfowl. I took this photograph, of an adult female Common Merganser (Mergus merganser), back in January on the Passaic River, NJ. River that is often overlooked and known as one of the most polluted rivers in the region. I wish that more people would take a closer look and found the beauty that wasn’t lost…
