Wings on Wednesday – female American Kestrel

A couple weeks ago, I was fortunate to see one of my favorite birds, American Kestrel. Previously, I saw these birds from the distance and mostly perched. This time I had a chance to photograph it much closer and in-flight.

    Beautiful shots. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a kestrel.

    Wow, these are spectacular in-flight images! Exquisite detail. Gorgeous female kestrel.
